About AI Fear & Greed Index

The AI Fear & Greed Index tracks sentiment around artificial intelligence using two complementary signals:

• News Sentiment: How positive or negative AI-related news coverage is on a given day.
• Community Sentiment: How our visitors feel about AI (fear / neutral / greed) based on daily votes.

Our goal is to provide a clear, transparent snapshot of how AI is perceived today and how that changes over time. We update the site daily with new news items and a fresh newsletter summary.

What We Cover

We monitor a curated set of reputable technology, science, and business publications, along with notable community sources. Articles are summarized and scored for sentiment on a -1 (fear) to +1 (greed) scale.

How We Use Your Input

Community votes are aggregated without personal identifiers and combined into short- and medium-horizon averages. These are shown alongside the news-based index to highlight divergences or confirmations between media narratives and public mood.

Update Schedule

New data is analyzed and updated daily.
